Business Whiz Kids CODE OF CONDUCT
PRIVACY POLICY
These terms apply to all programs operated by Business Whiz Kids including but not limited to Business Whiz Kids Boot Camps, Business Whiz Kids Online Training, Business Whiz Kids Membership, Business Whiz Kids Meetup, and our online learning platform. These terms apply to all courses, options, and programs offered by Business Whiz Kids.
RELEASE FROM LIABILITY
The participant has permission to engage in all activities. The parent/guardian furthermore gives permission to the professional health staff to secure and administer treatment including emergency medical or surgical treatment and hospitalization if necessary.
The parent/guardian will be financially responsible for any medical attention needed during the duration of the program or resulting from any injury received. The parent/guardian shall provide the sole insurance coverage for any medical treatment.
The parent/guardian agrees to release any records necessary for insurance purposes, with the understanding that every attempt will be made to contact the parent/guardian, or the emergency contact(s), before taking this action. The parent/guardian gives permission to Business Whiz Kids to arrange necessary related emergency transportation for the participant.
I HEREBY WAIVE AND RELEASE Business Whiz Kids ITS OWNERS, AGENTS, PARTNERS, FACILITY PROVIDERS, AND EMPLOYEES FROM LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR ILLNESS INCURRED WHILE AT CAMP, RESULTING FROM ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS RISK OF INJURY TO THE PARTICIPANT AS A RESULT OF CAMP AND ACADEMY ACTIVITIES, AND KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISK OF SUCH INJURY. HOWEVER, I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT RELEASING Business Whiz Kids, ITS OWNERS, AGENTS, PARTNERS, FACILITY PROVIDERS, AND EMPLOYEES FROM INTENTIONALLY TORTIOUS CONDUCT. TO THE EXTENT THIS RELEASE CONFLICTS WITH STATE/PROVINCIAL LAW GOVERNING RELEASES, THIS RELEASE IS TO BE GIVEN THE FULLEST FORCE AND EFFECT PERMITTED UNDER STATE OR PROVINCIAL LAW. IF THIS RELEASE IS DETERMINED TO BE INVALID UNDER THE LAWS OF THE GOVERNING STATE OR PROVINCE, THEN THIS RELEASE SHALL BE STRICKEN FROM THIS CONTRACT, BUT ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.
STATEMENT OF CONSENT/ARBITRATION CLAUSE
By authorizing the participant to attend Business Whiz Kids programs, the parent/guardian must agree to the statement of consent and the participant code of conduct. The information we collect is CONFIDENTIAL and is used to aid our staff, the Camp Director and Instructors in assessing crucial information regarding the participant.
Upon registration, you will need to submit information to Business Whiz Kids about the participant including allergies, illnesses, medications, dietary restrictions, immunizations, emergency contact information, gender and date of birth. We ask for a Primary Contact Person in case of emergency (in addition to a Secondary Contact Person) and information concerning these parties—such as name of contacts, phone numbers, email, and address. This information is to be filled out by the parent/guardian. If you have any questions, please contact us at 914-722-6005.
Participants will only be admitted to the Business Whiz Kids programs with a named physician. We ask for the physician’s name, along with the physician’s contact information. Additionally, it is required that you provide the medical insurance carrier and the policy number or social security number of the participant. If the participant is not covered under a health insurance plan, or if you do not wish to provide Business Whiz Kids with your medical insurance information, you agree to accept all financial liability should your child become injured while in the care of Business Whiz Kids, and release and indemnify Business Whiz Kids from any such financial responsibility.
If your participant should need to be restricted from any activity, you will be asked to inform us with the specifics. You further certify that he/she is in good health and able to participate in the program activities. You authorize the staff to attend to health problems or injuries your son/daughter may incur while attending our programs. You acknowledge that you are responsible for medical expenses due to your son/daughter’s illness or injury.
You will also be asked to identify any medical condition or history that would require special attention. You will need to certify that the named participant is physically able to participate in all activities, computer instruction, and that you know of no restrictions, physical impairments, or any other factors, which in any manner may limit his/her participation in such a program.
ALLERGIES/DRUG REACTIONS and Management of Reactions including NUTS. You will be asked to chronicle any known allergies. You will be asked if the participant is bringing an EPIPEN to camp. If so, you will be asked to verify the prescription and EPIPEN that are unexpired to the program(s); one for your participant to carry on their person. You may be asked for immunization information. You will need to verify that the health history you are providing is correct and complete, and that the participant has permission to engage in all activities except as noted.
You will be asked to enter all known illnesses or conditions which the participant has or has had including illness, allergies, and drug reactions. You will be asked to fill out a list of prescribed medications your son/daughter/ward MUST take while attending camp. You acknowledge that the medicine and/or vitamins are to be in the possession of the Camp Director or other designated staff, delivered to the staff in original containers that identify, in English, the prescribing physician (if a prescription drug), the name of the medication, the dosage, any side effect, and the frequency of administration, and will be dispensed as instructed by you. Exception: INHALERS AND DIABETIC TESTING KITS. All medication brought to camp MUST match what is listed on the participant’s Business Whiz Kids application Physical Information & Consent section of the Required Forms. Any discrepancies may result in long delays at check-in and may require the cancellation of the session, without a refund. Our program staff needs your full cooperation. Thank you for understanding. You also understand that no one at Business Whiz Kids is authorized to give any participant over-the-counter medication without written permission. And, in some states it is required that both the guardian and family physician provide written approval. In all cases, our staff are not professional nurses or doctors, and have not been trained in medicine.
You understand that if your participant is taking medication, all medications must be brought in the original container. The original container must identify (in English) the prescribing physician (if a prescription drug), the name of the medication, the dosage, any side effect, and the frequency of administration. Participants needing injections (insulin, hormones, etc.) will need to self-administer the medication under observation of our staff. Business Whiz Kids staff is not trained in this area. Upon arrival, all medication must be placed in the care of our designated staff. Please provide a physician’s note if your participant’s dosage differs from what is listed. You understand that any discrepancies may result in long delays at check-in and may require the cancellation of the program, without a refund. Please refrain from bringing non-essential vitamins and/or supplements. Our staff kindly appreciates your full cooperation.
You understand that it is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to retrieve their participant’s medication from the staff at the end of the session. If medication is not picked up within seven days, all medication(s) that is left behind after that grace period will be disposed of. Should Business Whiz Kids dispose of any medication pursuant to this policy, Business Whiz Kids shall not be responsible for any damages or liabilities related in any way to such medication, including, but not limited to, replacement cost of the medication and any damages resulting from participant’s failure to administer such medication. Business Whiz Kids , by law, is not allowed to mail medication, so please be sure to retrieve all medication upon checking out.
If the participant has a dietary restriction, you will be asked to inform us.
COMMUNICABLE DISEASES DISCLAIMER
Business Whiz Kids conducts its programs on the campuses of private and public educational institutions. Those institutions serve a large community of people coming from the both U.S. and international locations. Those people live and work in close quarters year round. Communicable diseases, also known as infectious diseases or transmissible diseases, are illnesses that result from the infection, presence and growth of pathogenic (capable of causing disease) biologic agents in an individual human or other animal host. Transmission of these biologic agents can occur in a variety of ways, including direct physical contact with an infectious person, consuming contaminated foods or beverages, contact with contaminated body fluids, contact with contaminated inanimate objects, airborne (inhalation), or being bitten by an infected insect or tick. Types of communicable diseases include:
Meningitis
Norovirus
Influenza
Pertussis
Measles
Varicella
West Nile Virus
The best protection against most communicable diseases is vaccination. We encourage all parents/guardians to have their participant receive childhood vaccinations to protect them against illness. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) provide valuable information on communicable diseases and vaccinations.
If a participant requires an aide at school then he/she will need to be accompanied by an aide at the Business Whiz Kids program, and that aide will need to be present for the duration of the session. The aide must be age 18 or older, may not be a family member, as well as interview with the Business Whiz Kids Human Resources Department prior to attending Business Whiz Kids programs.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Property. You will be responsible for personal or property damage incurred by your son/daughter while attending a program.Business Whiz Kids is not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged by casualty, theft, etc. You agree to pay the replacement costs for room damage—in accordance with the policy at each program location. You agree to accept full responsibility, financial or otherwise, for the conduct of your participant—including damage to equipment, or facilities. Business Whiz Kids does not owe a duty to protect its participants from theft or damage to property. You will not hold Business Whiz Kids responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. If any theft of or damage to your son/daughter’s property should occur, or in association with the program, you understand that Business Whiz Kids will not be held responsible.
You give Business Whiz Kids staff members permission to take your son/daughter to places of relevant interest, and facilities within walking distance of camp, on campus only.
You understand that all images, testimonials, photos, video, and audio taken at or in connection with Business Whiz Kids are the sole and exclusive property of Business Whiz Kids . As a condition of participation, you must understand and authorize that photos may be taken of your participant. You also understand and agree that said content may be used by Business Whiz Kids in promotional materials, marketing collateral, and online media. These images, testimonials, photos, videos, and audio may be shared and used by corporate partners, the media, or other organizations who work with Business Whiz Kids . You understand that Business Whiz Kids, its owners, agents, partners, facility providers, and employees will not be held liable for damages and injuries associated with said publishing, including any and all claims based on negligence.
Press Visits. Please note that if Business Whiz Kids is contacted by the press, a participant’s full name may be used in print, radio, TV and other mediums. We may not have the opportunity to contact all families for permission before the press arrives. Therefore, we have created a blanket policy. We thank you for understanding.
You understand that all projects and work created while at Business Whiz Kids may be used by Business Whiz Kids in promotional materials, online, and other print media. These projects may be shared and used by corporate partners, the media, or other organizations who work with Business Whiz Kids . You agree that any digital movie created during the Business Whiz Kids course may be submitted to a film festival by Business Whiz Kids and/or any of the participant(s) in the group that created the movie. You understand that Business Whiz Kids , its owners, agents, partners, facility providers, and employees will not be held liable for damages and injuries associated with said publishing, including any and all claims based on negligence.
You understand that video clips played at any of the programs run by Business Whiz Kids are rated PG and selected at the sole discretion of Business Whiz Kids . You understand that video used at any of the programs run by Business Whiz Kids are selected at the sole discretion of Business Whiz Kids staff.
You understand that some Business Whiz Kids website development courses require creation or use of an online account during instructional time, or will require an online account to be created for access. Parental/guardian consent is required and granted to create email accounts.
Participant Projects: You understand that Business Whiz Kids makes a reasonable effort to send each participant home with a working project, or website. Business Whiz Kids does not take responsibility for non-functioning/non-complete projects. It is the responsibility of the participant to complete the work. Refunds will not be issued for non-functioning/non-complete projects.
Self Sign-Out Policy for Business Whiz Kids Courses: If your participant is registered for a course and ages 13+, this means he/she will sign himself/herself out with staff daily. Once participants sign themselves out, they will no longer be in the care of Business Whiz Kids . If your participant is under the age of 13, but enrolled in Business Whiz Kids course, this policy is still in effect.
If the participant is old enough to drive with a valid state driver’s license, he/she may bring a vehicle to camp. It is understood that students are not allowed to transport other students in their vehicles under any circumstances. Additionally, the participant is responsible for arranging permitted parking on campus. Parking tickets will not be reimbursed. If theft or damage should occur to the vehicle while at an Business Whiz Kids program, or in transit to or from, Business Whiz Kids will not be held responsible for any damages, and you hereby release Business Whiz Kids from any such liability.
You understand that Business Whiz Kids reserves the right to cancel a course. If a course is cancelled, you understand that you may enroll your son/daughter/ in another course. If one is not available in the local vicinity for the same dates, a refund will be issued for all monies paid to Business Whiz Kids for the cancelled course. You understand that if Business Whiz Kids is forced to close a course based on a recommendation by the local Health Services Department (in the case of pandemic flu, etc.) or due to other acts of nature, no refunds will be issued. The tuition paid for the cancelled course can be applied to a voucher that can be used during that same season (as space permits) or will be carried over to the next season.
Business Whiz Kids CODE OF CONDUCT
Business Whiz Kids has the right to dismiss any individuals if their actions or attitudes are deemed detrimental, as set forth below in the Business Whiz Kids r Code of Conduct, and that there shall be no refunds issued for such dismissal.
You agree that you have read through, understand, and agree to the Business Whiz Kids Code of Conduct. You further agree that you will review the Business Whiz Kids Code of Conduct with your participant(s) that is/are participating in a program run by Business Whiz Kids . As the parent/guardian of a participant attending a Business Whiz Kids program, you understand that your participant must act in a way that is in keeping with the Business Whiz Kids Code of Conduct. You also understand that your participant can be dismissed from a program if his/her actions or attitudes seem to be harmful to the atmosphere or to other participants, in the opinion of Business Whiz Kids staff.
You understand that your participant can be dismissed, without a refund, from a program for the following reasons: drug/alcohol/tobacco use; viewing pornography or any inappropriate material on the Internet; inappropriate language (swearing, using bad words, racial slurs, etc.); physical violence or threats of physical violence against other participants or Business Whiz Kids staff; damage to University facilities or Business Whiz Kids equipment; Stealing property of others; inappropriate use of equipment; sexual harassment of other participants or Business Whiz Kids staff; Internet hacking; damage to dorm room; or bullying.
If possession of illegal substances or weapons is suspected, participant(s) will be subject to search and seizure. If possession of illegal substances or weapons is found, participant(s) will be dismissed from the program immediately. Personal pets or animals are not allowed to be brought or kept at camp. Participant (and therefore parent/guardian) is responsible for any personal items brought to and loaned. Participant promises to respect all Business Whiz Kids staff members and other participants while treating the facilities and equipment with great care.
Bringing electronic devices, including smartphone, laptop, digital camera, handheld console, etc. We do NOT require participants to bring any devices to Business Whiz Kids . However, in some courses, the participant may want to learn photography on their own personal DSLR, or may want to upload an iPhone app to their iPhone, for example. Additionally, we understand that parents may want to communicate with their students via cell phone. Should the participant bring a personal device to the program, please note:
Business Whiz Kids is NOT responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen equipment—participant and/or parent/guardian assume all risk.
Personal devices may NOT be used during instructional times—unless they are approved by the instructor.
We recommend that personal devices be locked in a backpack. Cell/smart phones can be kept on hand but must be in silent mode during instructional times.
Accessing the Internet via a local Wi-Fi hotspot at the program location (i.e., university campus) is the sole responsibility of the participant. Participant and parent/guardian must comply with all providers terms & conditions, and assume all financial risk. Business Whiz Kids does not facilitate Internet access for non-Business Whiz Kids devices.
Viewing inappropriate content (including sexual content, inappropriate violence, racism, bullying, etc.) online may result in immediate dismissal from a program, without a refund.
Any attempts at computer “hacking” will result in immediate dismissal from a program, without a refund. Local authorities will be contacted when warranted.
In most cases, participants will NOT be permitted to use their personal Steam accounts.
Recommended: Participants have access to tons of technology while at Business Whiz Kids. Feel free to leave personal electronic devices at home. Certain filtering software is placed on Business Whiz Kids computers, and this may not be the case with a personal device.
Parent/guardian and participant understand that Business Whiz Kids reserves the right to dismiss participant from the program without any prior warning for violating any of the terms of the Business Whiz Kids r Code of Conduct. You acknowledge that upon staff observation of your participant at the Business Whiz Kids program, the Director may determine that the program is not a suitable and/or productive environment for your participant. In this case, Business Whiz Kids may dismiss the participant and no refund will be issued. Business Whiz Kids will exhaust every opportunity for an excellent relationship with every participant. However, in some rare cases, Business Whiz Kids may not be a compatible environment for every participant.
TECH RULES OF USE
Please review this list of rules intended to keep participants safe and the Tech community a positive and productive one.
Do not disclose any personal information about yourself
This includes your first or last name, geographic information, the school you attend, your email, your website, or anything that could be used to identify you.
Content must be appropriate for all ages
All content and images must be G-rated. Anything not G-rated, or potentially suggestive of something not G-rated, will be removed. We do not permit most off-site links.
Even if the page you link to is appropriate, unless the entire website is explicitly an all-ages oriented website, we’ll probably moderate the link.
Be respectful and polite
Please be respectful to other members and use language that your grandma would be proud of. If your grandma has a foul mouth, then use language that my grandma would be proud of.
If you post something that does not follow these guidelines, we will either edit the post or remove it at our discretion.
At all times, please remember the Golden Rule: Treat others how you would want to be treated!
Business Whiz Kids Instructors can view participants’ progress, quiz results, and achievements received.
You understand that in general, Business Whiz Kids views social networking sites (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), personal websites, and blogs positively and respects the rights of our participants to use them as a medium for self-expression. Business Whiz Kids does, however, also recognize the potential dangers associated with the abuse of social networking sites, and has set forth this policy.
You further understand that for the safety of our participants and to protect the privacy of our summer staff, Business Whiz Kids requires that participants observe the following policies:
Any projects or websites created by participants and hosted on Business Whiz Kids servers may not contain links to websites containing personal information or inappropriate material.
Users must follow the terms of use of the said social site, including following the specified age policies.
Business Whiz Kids does not allow the use of its company logo or those of their corporate partners or community partners on any personal website, social networking group, or blog without written permission by Business Whiz Kids or its corporate or community partners.
Participants should also be aware that under no circumstances is staff allowed to give personal contact information for social networking sites, personal websites, blogs, or instant messenger programs.
For the safety of our participants/members and to protect the privacy of our staff, Business Whiz Kids has implemented a policy to govern interactions outside of a program. Staff may communicate publicly via the Business Whiz Kids Alumni Facebook Group.
Facebook Alumni Group. We review every request to join the Business Whiz Kids Alumni Group before approving a new member. Only current and former participants or staff members are currently being accepted into the Business Whiz Kids staff member, we will send you a private message (PM) to confirm who you are.
If you have not been “approved” and we have not sent a PM, it is likely because you do not have messaging turned on so we do not have a way to reach you privately.
Business Whiz Kids makes every reasonable effort to prevent participants from being exposed to inappropriate web content. Business Whiz Kids takes reasonable precautions to guard against inappropriate material being viewed. If inappropriate content is viewed, our staff will follow standard protocol. Please understand that participants found in violation of our “common sense” Internet policy may be removed from a program without receiving a refund.
NON-TRADITIONAL, BLENDED EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT
Business Whiz Kids believes in a non-traditional, blended learning environment. Typically,Business Whiz Kids teaches different courses simultaneously within the same lab environment. Age ranges may vary. We remind all participants that this is a summer camp environment, and we typically blend traditional summer camp activities with our technology courses, which include both in-person and online instruction.
CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT POLICY. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT PER PROGRAM.
All financial transactions are made and quoted in U.S. Dollars.
The entire membership tuition is non-refundable no matter when the cancellation falls within the purchased period. No unused term proration is applicable.
Business Whiz Kids Camps have a strict refund policy due to the high costs of hardware, software, facilities, and staff resources. Please note that full payment is required at the time of registration and deposits are not accepted.
No refunds will be issued for early withdrawal or dismissal due to absences (for any reason) including sickness, behavioral dismissals, power failures, weather, and unforeseeable events not within the control of Business Whiz Kids or other acts of nature. If participants leave a program early for any reason, the tuition is not prorated and no refund will be issued, including partial refunds.
If Business Whiz Kids must cancel a session and cannot find a suitable alternative at an adjacent location, a full refund will be made to the client.
REFER-A-FRIEND: DETAILS
There is no limit to the number of friends a client can refer.
Earn $50 credit for each new participant you refer who attendsBusiness Whiz Kids Camps. Your friend will also save $50 off their tuition. The referred participant must be a new participant and cannot have previously attended Business Whiz Kids programs.
Earn $20 credit for each new participant you refer who attendsBusiness Whiz Kids Mini during the current season. Your friend will also save $20 off their tuition. The referred participant must be a new participant and cannot have previously attended Business Whiz Kids programs.
In order to be eligible, you must have referred a new participant prior to the date your friend starts camp.
Referral codes can only be used once per participant. Please note that Business Whiz Kids will credit the referral based off of the referral code that the new client enters at the time of registration.
The Refer-a-Friend program does not apply to siblings (since they are eligible for the Sibling & Multi-Course Discounts).
Participants may not refer each other to both qualify for the Refer-a-Friend discount.
For each referral, you will receive a credit to your account.
The credit will be applied within 4-6 weeks from the time the referred client registers, or sooner. If referred friend cancels his/her session, the credit will be removed from the customer’s account.
Business Whiz Kids reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions on the website at any time.
Not valid for Online Membership.
MEMBERSHIP: Business Whiz Kids
Business Whiz Kids has monthly and annual online membership options. Business Whiz Kids memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Business Whiz Kids does not prorate any portion of the membership. Proper and respectful etiquette is a condition of participation. Participants deemed violating these terms will be ineligible to participate in future programs, without a refund. Inappropriate conduct includes using the course content and service inappropriately or illegally, using improper language in forums and chat rooms, being disrespectful to any other participant or provider, cyber bullying, etc. Terms may change without notice.
TRANSACTION CONFIRMATION
Following a transaction, the client will receive a confirmation. If purchasing via our online registrations system, phone, or fax, the client will receive confirmation via the web (for online purchase only), as well as an email confirmation sent to the email address provided.
PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy statement applies to Business Whiz Kids websites, services and products that collect data and display these terms. All references to “us,” “we,” or “our” refer to Business Whiz Kids .
All references to “child” or “children” refer to children under the age of 13.
By accessing or otherwise using any of our Sites & Services, you are consenting to the terms contained in this privacy statement, including the collection, use and disclosure of data as described below.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Through our websites and services, we collect information about you and/or your child when you choose to provide it to us. For example, we collect information from you in order to use Sites & Services, purchase products and services, register for and obtain an account, request information, apply for a job, register for one of our programs, or verify your age. In general, you may provide us with the following types of information:
Contact Information such as name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number (note to parents/guardians of children, if our Sites & Services are either directed to children or we have actual knowledge that a user is under 13 years old, the child will be asked to have his or her parent or guardian continue the registration process);
Month, day, and year of birth;
Gender;
Course interests;
Billing Information such as credit card number, and billing address;
User names to third-party systems (for example, Facebook);
Information provided on forums or chat rooms within our Sites & Services (note to parents/guardians of children, forums and chat rooms permit a child user to enter comments through which the child could provide personal information that would be visible to other users);
Information included in resumes and job applications.
Note to Parents/Guardians: We only collect the information described above from a child when the child’s parent or guardian provides us with verifiable consent, unless one of the limited exceptions discussed below applies. For more information and/or to review these limited exceptions, please see the “Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy” section below.
How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect from and about you and/or your child for any of the following purposes:
Allow you to register yourself or your child with Sites & Services, or to otherwise register and open an account with us;
Allow you and/or your child to use Sites & Services;
Fulfill orders, process payments and prevent transactional fraud;
Respond to your or your child’s requests or inquiries;
Provide you or your child with information about our products and services;
Consider you for employment or a volunteer opportunity;
Register you or your child in one of our programs;
Verify your child’s age;
Monitor and improve Sites & Services, support the internal operations of Sites & Services, personalize your online experience, and for internal analysis;
Protect the security or integrity of Sites & Services and our business;
Facilitate the sale or potential sale of our business or any of our assets; or
As required by law.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or otherwise share your or your child’s information with any third-parties, except for the limited purposes described below. Parents/guardians of children under the age of 13 have the option of consenting to the collection and use of their child’s personal information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to certain third parties.
Law Enforcement and Safety

Service Providers

Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of children is paramount. We understand that users and visitors of our Sites & Services who are under 13 years of age need special safeguards and privacy protection. It is our intent to fully comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

International Visitors
Our Sites & Services is operated and managed on servers located in the United States. If you choose to use our Sites & Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and uses that differ from the United States, then, you recognize and agree that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the United States and you consent to that transfer.

Business Whiz Kids provides several opportunities for social networking for both participants and staff on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube. These sites are not affiliated with Business Whiz Kids and offer their own individual social networking services. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, as well as the Terms and Conditions of the sites in which Business Whiz Kids these sites or any site with an official Business Whiz Kids affiliation.
Business Whiz Kids is a member of several pre-existing sites (as mentioned above). Business Whiz Kids reserves the right to take action to remove any content deemed inappropriate by the sites or by Business Whiz Kids standards. Business Whiz Kids will not be held liable for any loss of content or disagreements that may arise between the individual social networking site and the user.
You understand that by registering for an Business Whiz Kids program, your participant(s) may access and upload content to social networking sites. Please note that these sites have their own individual Terms and Conditions that must be followed. Age requirements are outlined within each Site’s Terms and Conditions. You hereby authorize your participant to access social networking sites while at camp and create an account if they choose to do so and if they meet the requirements listed by each site to create an account.
Interaction with other users:
Business Whiz Kids is merely providing a medium in which to socialize online with fellow participants. Users are solely responsible for interactions (including any disputes) with other Members and any volunteers that may advise and assist participants with projects and activities via your use of the Site and Services.
You understand that Business Whiz Kids does not in any way screen Members or review or police: (i) statements made by Members in their Member Submissions or the Member Submissions in general; or (ii) statements made by Users or any information a User may provide via the Site or Services.
You understand that your participant(s) is solely responsible for, and will exercise caution, discretion, common sense, and judgment in using the various Sites and Services and disclosing personal information to other Members or Users.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree that they will take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other Members, particularly if they decide to meet a Member offline or in person.
Your participant’s use of the social networking sites with which Business Whiz Kids is affiliated, their services, Content and Member Submissions is at your sole risk and discretion and Business Whiz Kids hereby disclaims any and all liability to you or any third party relating thereto.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree that they will not harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, stalk, or invade the privacy of any individual in connection with your use of the social networking sites with which Business Whiz Kids r is affiliated and their services, whether or not an individual is an Business Whiz Kids Member; and you further agree not to advocate such activities or to encourage others to engage in any such activities.
COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY- NO UNAUTHORIZED USE: You agree that you and your participant will not use the social networking sites to offer, display, distribute, transmit, route, provide connections to, or store any material that infringes copyrighted works, trademarks, or service marks or otherwise violates or promotes the violation of the intellectual property rights of any third party. Business Whiz Kids has adopted and implemented a policy that provides for the termination in appropriate circumstances of the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are believed to be or are charged with repeatedly infringing the intellectual property or proprietary rights of others.
INDEMNIFICATION: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Business Whiz Kids , its officers, directors, employees, and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) your access to or use of social networking sites, their services, Business Whiz Kids Content and Member Submissions; (ii) your violation of these Terms of Use; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including, without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that one of your Member Submissions caused damage to a third party or infringed or violated any third party intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right.

Business Whiz Kids reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions on the website at any time. Business Whiz Kids is not a university-sponsored event. Activities, guest speakers, may change session to session and may not apply to all locations. We reserve the right to cancel a course if participation numbers are not adequate: In the case a suitable Business Whiz Kids replacement week is not found, a full refund will be issued. On rare occasions, the software and hardware we use at our programs may change without notice, and we will strive to find suitable software and hardware alternatives.
CHANGES TO SERVICES
Business Whiz Kids may change these provisions at any time. For example, we may add, delete or amend terms of functions.
Assumption of Risk. Participant recognizes, understands and agrees that the Released Parties assume no responsibility for any liability as regards damage or injury that may be caused by Participant’s negligence or willful acts committed prior to, during or after participation in the Event, or any liability, damage or injury caused by others, including other participants.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless. Participant hereby agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Released Parties from any injury, loss or liability whatsoever including reasonable attorneys’ fees and/or any other associated costs, from any action, claim, or demand that Participant, Participant’s heirs or legal representatives, has or may have for any and all personal injuries Participant may suffer or sustain, regardless of cause or fault as a result of, arising out of, associated with, or resulting directly or indirectly from Participant’s voluntary participation in or decision to participate in the Event, travel to and from the Event and any and all related activities, on or off of campus. This Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement is intended to be all encompassing.
Physical Condition and Insurance. Participant attests that he/she is physically and mentally capable of participating and has no known health restrictions that might jeopardize his/her safety or health or the safety or health of others during their participation in the Event. Participant gives permission for the campus or its representative to provide immediate and reasonable emergency care should it be required.
Participant agrees to be solely responsible for payment in full of all costs of medical care he/she may receive.
Participant acknowledges that he/she has read this Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims, Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement, understands its meaning and effect, and agrees to be bound by it.
Important Note to Participants and Custodial Parents and Legal Guardians. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you understand and agree to the full content of the above waiver as documented by the university. The effective date and time of this agreement is equivalent to the date and time you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
WE ARE A SMOKE FREE CAMPUS. SMOKING ON CAMPUS OR IN OUR BUILDINGS IS PROHIBITED.
VISITORS
ALL VISITORS, INCLUDING PARENTS MUST CHECK-IN FIRST WITH THE Security Guard WHEN VISITING A STUDENT. Only students and program staff are allowed to stay on campus. Visitors, other than parents, who may be taking the student, must be approved by the parent/guardian during registration.
